We all have this shining light. Her passion is to help people get to know their bodies, not just physically, but also emotionally and spiritually. Yoga helps you to develop a relationship with your deeper self and can bring you to a place of deep peace and contentment. It’s a truly healing and nourishing modality and she is grateful to all her teachers for lighting this path.
Maria is a 500 hr Hatha yoga teacher and a Continuing Education Provider with International Yoga Alliance. She has qualifications in Yin yoga with meridian theory and is a Registered Kundalini Yoga Teacher. Maintaining a holistic approach to one’s lifestyle is something Maria highly regards. She has a background in science, anatomy and counselling and teaches Anatomy and Physiology on 200 hour Teacher Training Courses. To assist with these she has written two detailed guide books on for the newly qualified yoga teacher.
Yin Yoga (Tuesday)
Yin Yoga works on the lower part of the body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine which are especially rich in connective tissues. It cultivates awareness and enhances the flow of vital energy to restore the natural balance of body and mind. Ideal for beginners because of its relaxing nature.
